If you secure a place the tuition fees for the programmes will be £9,000.
You may be eligible for a tax free bursary or scholarship to support your training. These funding streams are dependent on the phase/subject in which you are training and your qualifications. A high degree classification will allow you access to extra bursary funding. A Masters or PhD could also ensure you receive further funding.

Secondary Mathematics and Physics only
The School Direct Training Programme (salaried) is mainly aimed at career changers with at least three years’ work experience, however applications from high-quality graduates with less experience in maths or physics may be considered.
NCTL provides the following training and salary grants to School Direct lead schools to cover training costs for salaried trainees to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). Additional qualifications such as a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) are not funded.
School Direct trainees on the salaried route are not eligible for bursaries or scholarships.
